Welcome to TheGospelHall.net. This site, and the products and services provided herein (“Services”) are provided by Opalhaven Corporation (“Opalhaven”), a Washington Corporation with principal place of business at 24310 Lockwood Rd, Bothell, WA 98021. Opalhaven is exclusively owned and operated by a believer who is in fellowship with other believers at Clearview Gospel Hall near Seattle, and provides our Services to believers gathered to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

By using our Services, you are agreeing to these terms of use-

  1. You testify that the account profile information you create is accurate and truthful, and you will update any changes to role or gospel hall fellowship as quickly as is reasonably possible. My Gospel Hall is defined as the local assembly fellowship that you are part of, and Role is defined as follows-
    1. Observer – a person who has not been received into the fellowship of that assembly of believers, but regularly visits the meetings, observing the fellowship.
    2. Member – a person who has been received into the fellowship of that assembly of believers
    3. Elder - a man appointed by the Holy Spirit (Acts 20), recognized by that local fellowship as an overseer, with qualifications according to 1Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
    4. Missionary - a person who is commended to the full-time service of the Lord by that local fellowship
  2. You agree to adhere to any policies made available to you within the Services. Sometimes additional terms may apply and will be available with the relevant Services, and those additional terms become part of your agreement with us if you use those Services.
  3. You agree to adhere to our code of conduct defining acceptable use of our Services-
    1. Messaging and posts according to Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
    2. Conduct and interaction according to Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
    3. Motives according to Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
    4. Do not solicit financial support – using our Services as a fundraising platform is expressly forbidden. Communication of a need is acceptable stewardship, but not to the extent it becomes solicitation.
    5. Do no market or attempt to sell products or services – using our Services as an advertising platform is expressly forbidden.
    6. Do not interfere with our Services or try to access them using a method other than the interface and the instructions that we provide.
  4. Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access.
  5. You agree that by creating your account on our Services, you are authorizing us as follows-
    1. We may suspend or stop providing our Services to you at any time for any reason, including in situations when you do not comply with our terms or policies or if we are investigating suspected misconduct.
    2. We may send you service announcements, administrative messages, and other information in connection with your use of the Services.
    3. We may share the information you provide in our Services with other users. For example, private information including email address and phone number may be provided to other users in the same Gospel Hall. For example, personally identifiable information, such as your name and profile picture may be provided to other users in other Gospel Halls.
  6. You agree to abide by the following terms of use as they relate to access of content posted in our Services by other users-
    1. You may not use, reproduce or otherwise distribute content from our Services, unless you obtain permission in writing from its owner and us. Our Services display some content that is not Opalhaven’s. This content is the sole responsibility of the entity that makes it available. We may review content to determine whether it is illegal or violates our policies, and we may remove or refuse to display content that we reasonably believe violates our policies or the law. But that does not necessarily mean that we review content, so please don’t assume that we do.
    2. You must maintain confidentiality of all information other users share within our Services, including name, email address, and phone number.
    3. You must maintain confidentiality of any account you create at theGospelHall.net. You are responsible for the activity that happens on or through your account at TheGospelHall.net.
    4. You agree to abide by our account verification process, which only enables you access to certain capabilities within our Service when other users have verified that you are in the role you have selected. You agree that we may have your account repeat this verification process at any time at our determination, which may suspend your access to Services until such verification is complete.
  7. You agree that by posting content on our Services, you are authorizing us as follows-
    1. When you upload, submit, store, send or receive content to or through our Services, you give Opalhaven (and those we work with) a worldwide license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works (such as those resulting from translations, adaptations or other changes we make so that your content works better with our Services), communicate, publish, display and distribute such content. This license continues even if you stop using our Services. Also, in some of our Services, there are terms or settings that narrow the audience or scope of our use of the content submitted in those Services. Make sure you have the necessary rights to grant us this license for any content that you submit to our Services.
    2. If anyone brings a claim against us related to your actions, content or information posted on our Services, you will indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to such claim. Although we provide terms of service for acceptable use of our Services, we do not control or direct users' actions on our Services and are not responsible for the content or information users transmit or share on our Services. We are not responsible for any offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful or otherwise objectionable content or information you may encounter on our Services. We are not responsible for the conduct, whether online or offline, of any user of our Services.
    3. If you submit feedback or suggestions about our Services, we may use your feedback or suggestions without obligation to you.

Our Warranties and Disclaimers – WE TRY TO KEEP OUR SERVICES UP, BUG-FREE, AND SAFE, BUT YOU USE OUR SERVICES AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE ARE PROVIDING OUR SERVICES AS IS WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT OUR SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE SAFE, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE OR THAT OUR SERVICES WILL ALWAYS FUNCTION WITHOUT DISRUPTIONS, DELAYS OR IMPERFECTIONS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS, CONTENT, INFORMATION, OR DATA OF THIRD PARTIES, AND YOU RELEASE US, OUR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY CLAIMS AND DAMAGES, KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH ANY CLAIM YOU HAVE AGAINST ANY SUCH THIRD PARTIES. IF YOU ARE A CALIFORNIA RESIDENT, YOU WAIVE CALIFORNIA CIVIL CODE §1542, WHICH SAYS: A GENERAL RELEASE DOES NOT EXTEND TO CLAIMS WHICH THE CREDITOR DOES NOT KNOW OR SUSPECT TO EXIST IN HIS FAVOR AT THE TIME OF EXECUTING THE RELEASE, WHICH IF KNOWN BY HIM MUST HAVE MATERIALLY AFFECTED HIS SETTLEMENT WITH THE DEBTOR. WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOSSES OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS STATEMENT OR US. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THIS STATEMENT OR OUR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS. APPLICABLE LAW MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN SUCH CASES, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

About these Terms – We may modify these terms or any additional terms that apply to a Service to, for example, reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. You should look at the terms regularly. We will post notice of modifications to these terms on this page. We will post notice of modified additional terms in the applicable Service. If you do not agree to the modified terms for a Service, you should discontinue your use of the Service. If there is a conflict between these terms and the additional terms, the additional terms will control for that conflict. These terms control the relationship between Opalhaven and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights. If you do not comply with these terms, and we don’t take action right away, this doesn’t mean that we are giving up any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future). If it turns out that a particular term is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms.
